Excellent case![]()
Protects my case amazing! It fits snug and is still really good looking. Only complaint would be is it wraps so well its kind of hard to remove at first. Customer service explained though and it was quite easy once i grabbed correct tab!

Exactly Right for IPod Touch!![]()
Ordered and received within 10 days, and everything works perfectly with my Touch 2nd G. This is a fabulous deal for the money. If you have the Touch, and you want to charge it without plugging into your computer, this is the way to do it. The red leather case fits perfectly, and you can charge and play your Touch without having to remove it.

Items arrived quickly and in working order. I LOVE my red leather Ipod case! My friends do too!!

Micro-Fiber Pouch for iPod Touch![]()
The Micro-Fiber Pouch is excellent protection for the iPod Touch. I use it as I move it from place to place in the house and also as a storage unit for the Touch. It is very soft, washable, and even can be used as a cleaning cloth to wipe fingerprints from the screen and back of unit. I rate this outstanding. If you have an iPod Touch, you need this!!!
Good enough, didn’t work how I expected.![]()
There is nothing particularly wrong with this pouch. Workmanship is good, but the fit is a little snug and the nature of the material makes it a little difficult for the phone to slide in and out of the pouch. This might even be part of the design so the phone doesn’t easily fall out.
I realized also that I access the phone much more frequently when it’s in a pouch and I can’t quickly check it and put it back away.
Concept is good, execution is good, but the product just wasn’t for me and the frequency at which I use my phone.
Micro-Fiber Pouch![]()
I really like this product, I use it every day to clean my iPod touch screen. It is like a car wash for your iPod touch, just slip it in, a couple of quick rubs and it’s nice and shiny again.

FM transmitter for IPOD![]()
Clumsy and junk. Too many FM stations broadcast, so can’t find a clear one in Vancouver, WA. Mainly, though, this product is unweildy, my IPOD doesn’t secure into the holder well, and isn’t synched up with the car. You have to use the Cigarette Lighter for power, which is on all the time, so when you get out of the car, its a hassle to keep turning this product off and on. reject.
Does not work as advertised![]()
My disappointment with this product is that the sound quality is not very good and although it is listed as compatible with the ipods we own it did not charge them at all! Also, consider how it plugs into your car lighter, it did not fit in mine due to the lighter being so close to my gear shift. Was excited to get this, but ultimately very disappointed
Worked for a while.![]()
Had the product for about 3 months. It just stopped working when the weather got cold. Would not buy another one for that reason.

WORKS w/ I-phone 3g![]()
I think the other reviewers don’t know how to use this docking/craddle. Like it says in the instructions, “For iPhone: once connected, it will show error message. Click ‘No’ and this cradle will work perfectly fine” Ours work great w/ our IPHONEs 3g and even charges them, the remote also works great. I have 2 of these one at work connected to a pair of DELL speakers and one at home connected to our BOSE wave cd/radio, we own 2 Iphones 3gs and never had encountered any problems, using these almost every day for about 6 months now. Low cost for a great product.
Does it work with Apple AV Cable MB129LL ?![]()
I need to know if this cradle works with Apple Composite AV Cable
(part number MB129LL).
If it does I will buy it.
Thank you
The best dock I’ve had so far for an ipod![]()
I use this dock for my aerobics class and it is extremely versatile. The remote is very responsive, even at a 20′ distance from the base, and has functions that can navigate you through any area of your ipod. I use it with my 2nd generation ipod touch (no adapter required), but it also works with all nanos and the mini. In addition, the dock features an 1/8″ port on the back to plug into a stereo system or an amp. This was important for me since the earphone jack is on the bottom of my itouch and nano. I’m going to stock up on a few of these.

Worked okay, but died in a couple of months.![]()
This unit (DP-900) seemed like a good deal at the sale price of only $70 at Bed Bath & Beyond so we bought one. Worked alright. Sound quality was good, but setup and functions seemed clumsy and not very well thought out. The back-light on the unit is very bright and does not shut off, so we could not use it in our bedroom. Unit/remote functionality with iPod control was lacking. Unit would also randomly stop playing iPod music.
However, after 2 to 3 months of use the unit quit working all together. It will turn on and attempt to play from iPod or AM/FM radio, but all you can hear is a faint garbled noise. Volume control is also lost. Luckily, Bed, Bath & Beyond let us return without receipt & packaging for store credit.
I do not plan on purchasing another one of these units, and would not recommend it to others.
Good sound, but complete failure as an alarm clock.![]()
I bought this to replace an old tinny-sounding mono alarm clock and a clunky bookshelf stereo. It was to function as an alarm and audio center in the bedroom. The sad thing is that it sounds pretty darned good, but it’s poorly executed in just about every other way.
iPod playback is unreliable, with playback pausing at some interval after starting almost every time, requiring you to unpause – seems to be a bug with the iPod display going into sleep mode. There’s no sleep timer, a must on an alarm clock, and if you go to sleep to the iPod playing the alarm won’t go off in the morning because “alarm mode” and “audio mode” are mutually exclusive. As a bonus – there’s no visual indication of which mode the unit’s in.
iPod alarm mode is flaky, too – if you don’t pick a playlist and pause it before going to bed, the unit won’t play any audio at alarm time. Add a lack of radio presets, and a too-bright backlight (why must every unit like this have a display bright enough to cast shadows?!) and it’s a complete failure as anything other than a slightly unreliable docking station. What’s tragic is that it’s the best sounding unit under $200 I’ve found. Boo on Homedics for being such a tease – this thing’s going back.

This little sucker rocks!![]()
Got mine for $24.99 at Ross Dress for Less! Was a bit smaller than I anticipated at only around 9″ long x3″x3″, and it seemed a bit cheapish, but once I put my Nano in it I became a happy customer. This thing for its size and the price really sounds great – crank the volume up to 40, it sounds crystal clear and fills my master bedroom with great sound. I’m laying hear listening to Bono sing ‘Beautiful Day’, and it is as if he is here in the room. And to be honest, I’m quite glad he isn’t. Radio stations were amazingly clear as well. This thing is exactly what I wanted – a stylish, simple, small clock radio that doubles as an excellent iPod player/stereo/charger. Controls are simple enough that you can learn to use them in the dark. Put batteries in and when the power goes out you won’t have to reset the time, unless power is out for like 5 years, in which case you’re skrewed in more ways than one. I’m really impressed and will enjoy this good-looking, good-sounding unit for years – I hope. Well worth $25 – a no-brainer. Ross also gets this same unit in under a different label called Merkury – same unit, different box, same price. This unit is a lot better than some pricier units I tried and returned….
basic alarm clock![]()
this product is good as a basic alarm clock.
small an nice looking but the sound quality from the ipod (or a different player since there is a cable to connect any other MP3s) is really poor.
I got it for 20$ at radioshack and I think 52$ is a little over priced for a simple alarm clock.
OTHER Mp3 players?![]()
This is not really a review of the product as it is a review of the item description…I have a Sony Zune and I’m looking for a table radio/docking station/charger that will show me the time. This looks nice and it says that it works with “other” Mp3 players, but that is not specific enough. I’m not going to spend my money on something that MIGHT work!

Awesome Sound! Has its flaws![]()
Got this for my wife as an alarm clock. Read all the reviews so I knew in my head this would function mostly as an alarm clock and not compete against other “sound/stereo systems” for the ipod. I’ve got the 3rd gen.
The sound quality is awesome with WOW on, I wouldn’t go adjusting the Treble or Bass as its not that great, but WOW on is a must on this baby. Although occasionally with WOW on some MP3’s sound rough and require a skip or WOW to be turned off. Poor quality MP3 is usually the issue not the WOW from what I gather.
The aesthetics are awesome! Flat panel speakers (which is suprisingly good on audio) have a great mirror finish, just dont touch with your oily hands! The vibrations are neat but no biggie. it fits nicely on the night stand without taking up much room compared to some other docks i’ve seen. It looks beautiful. The alarm clock LED’s are very nice and bigg enough for my sleepy eyes.
Alarm volume, can be crazy, but an alarm is to wake you up I guess. Not a big deal for my wife and I it gets us out of be. I found leveling the volume is just fine.
AM I never use… no comment
FM in my area of Cali, I can’t get reception on any household radio… but the stations I can pickup are fine. You definitely have to extend the antenna. Other may have better comments on this one.
Buzzer, never used it… just use the ipod for waking up. oh which reminds me you have to predefine the playlist to wake up to and it will play that song in the morning. It does have two preset times which it had 4, but not many alarm clocks go beyond 2. Snooze button is big enough and in a good enough spot for me.
I can’t seem to get my to charge my ipod, but the auto shutoff is good to conserve the battery. I may have a glitch or bad one haven’t heard any bad reviews on this so maybe I got a lemon.
All in all LOVE the sound, LOVE the look, and I do enjoy the alarm clock. I can’t really complain much, but for others it may be annoying.
Clever and Attractive Design![]()
The Macally Flat Panel iPod Docking Stereo Alarm Clock is an attractive and well-executed design that maximizes features in a minimum space. It represents a very good value for an iPod docking station. Its modern “clean” appearance is at the expense of some controls being located inconveniently in the back. Set your expectations not for an audiophile stereo, but for a sound that is surprisingly good for a unit of this size.
Comes with adapters for various iPod models, but not with one that precisely fits the newest, curved Nano; my daughter chose to install the white adapter that came with her Nano rather that the black adapter suppiied by Macally for the older Nano. She loves it.
Digital dispaly went out![]()
Everything seemed fine with this iPod alarm player, then one day, for no reason, the digital display went black. Everything else works, but without the display it cannot be used as a clock or an alarm!
I only had the thing a few months and then poof.

Decent buy![]()
This works great, just as one could hope for, the only thing I don’t like is you cannot adjust the volume for the alarm. It’s always full blast, It about gives me a heart attack when I wake up when it goes off, so I cannot use it for the soul purpose I intended when I bought it.
Impressive iPod/iPhone clock radio![]()
I spent several months searching for a clock/radio compatible with the iPhone 3G that was under $100, and came up with this. I have never heard of Satechi, and don’t know anyone that has, so I was a little worried about ordering this.
When it arrived I unpacked it and was quite impressed by the build quality. It is a sturdy box shape with two large dials on top and two rows of buttons in between. It came with several inserts for the different generations of iPods, unfortunately there was no insert for iPhone/iTouch.
Pros:
1. Compatible with iPhone 3G. Charges and plays. No interference has been experienced yet.
2. Packed with features:
- Two alarms
- Alarm can be radio, iPod, or nature sounds
- Nap alarm – 10-60 minute timer so you can nap without resetting your alarm times
- Sleep timer – fall asleep to you music and it will power itself down
- 3 light settings for the LED front – High, Low, and off
- Full feature remote – Can access iPod/iPhone controls and menus with the remote
3. And, finally, above average sound quality
Cons:
1. No insert for iTouch/iPhone – Not a big deal for me because my iPhone is in a silicone case, so there is not a lot of movement
2. Sound quality at low volumes – While I listed above average sound quality as a “pro”, it has decent sound quality when it is turned up. At lower volume, the highs seemed to be drowned out.
Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone. Based on amazon and ebay reviews, the SP2 is a far superior product to the similar SP1.
not made for iphone![]()
this product is not made for the iphone, nowhere in the literature that comes with the product does it mention iphone.
when you dock an iphone with this device, a message pops up stating that “this device is not made for the iphone” and your phone offers to go into “airplane mode”
however, in airplane mode the phone does charge and all music functions seem to work.
There are many adapters included to dock any ipod, including the ipod touch. also, there is a “line in” cable that will work with any thing that uses standard headphones.
the biggest problem with this device is that the power cord does not stay attached, and the slightest wiggle cuts power resetting the clock. not a big problem if you use battery backup, but it is awful annoying especially if you want the phone to charge overnight or if you depend on the alarm clock.
